Stayed here for a long weekend and honestly it exceeded expectations. The rooms are stylish without trying too hard — clean lines, great beds, and the kind of bathroom you actually want to spend time in. Location on 14th Street is perfect; walkable to so much but still feels like you’re in a real neighborhood rather than the tourist bubble. The staff were genuinely warm, not just going-through-the-motions hotel friendly. And having Dovetail downstairs is a huge bonus — we ended up eating there twice because why would you leave? Only downside was that the pool was being renovated when we went!! Would 100% book again next time I’m in DC.
We booked our wedding room block here, with our venue 1 block away at Fathom Gallery 14 Street. This was the perfect central location to all of our wedding events. The rooms were stunning, service impeccable, and the hotel was truly the perfect home base for our wedding weekend. Working with Khris to manage the room block was seamless, and she was very responsive to my questions and requests. Every individual we encountered whether it be valet, front desk, room service, or housekeeping was friendly, and truly went above and beyond knowing we were there for our wedding. We could not have had a better experience and are looking forward to our next visit.
I had a wonderful stay at the Viceroy DC! I especially want to highlight Hugo at the front desk, he was absolutely fantastic. Always smiling, incredibly friendly, and very knowledgeable, he provided excellent recommendations for activities around the city. Hugo was quick to respond to any questions and always ready to help, making our experience even more enjoyable. The staff really made the stay memorable, and I can’t recommend this hotel enough! Service was amazing from everyone. Great location less than a mile away from everywhere we had to go. Wish the rooms had a little bit more light felt too dark at times even with all the lamps on. Also can you make another option for smoothies for people with a nut allergy all the smoothies offered had them.
The rooms are a missing natural light, but the shining star here is the service. Every employee here is amazing and service is 6 staff level. From the cafe in the morning to dovetale bar in the evening, everyone here is a gem. Specifically the staff at Dovetale is incredible. The mixologist- Axol developed the drink menu and they created multiple Unique masterpieces. Their unique take on classics is truly a mark in their resume. I have to compliment their whit and their palate to create delicious drinks. 10/10 would recommend.
